Teflon™ AF (amorphous fluoropolymer) resins are distinct from other fluoropolymer resins in that they are soluble in selected solvents, have high gas permeability, high compressibility, creep resistance, and low thermal conductivity. Teflon™ AF polymers have the lowest dielectric constant of any known solid polymer and the lowest index of refraction of any known polymer. *There are two ways to contact us to purchase Teflon™ AF resins:
1. Call customer service at 800-258-2533.
2. Complete this form and our customer service team will call you for your payment information. *Typical Applications:
gas separation membranes
fiber optic core and cladding
optical lenses
anti-reflective coating
mold release coating
hydrophobic coating
various molded- or solution-processed parts
deep UV-resistant films and components
interlayer dielectric

Product Attributes of Teflon™ AF Resin:
Tg 160°C and Tg 240°C; high thermal, chemical, mechanical, and electrical stability; high permanent gas permiability and perm-separability; high creep resistance; low thermal conductivity; optical transparency over a wide wavelength range; lowest dielectric constant of any known solid plastic; lowest index of refraction of any known plastic; limited solubility in selected perfluorinated solvents; and compression-melt processible. Research quantities of Teflon™ AF resins come in 25 gram and 500 gram packages. AF 1600X resin is not available in EMEA.
